 Satipatthana: The direct path to realization:

Understanding and applying the four foundations of Mindfulness

 This 3 week study-course will undertake an in-depth study of satipatthana meditations (mindfulness) based on the versions found in the pali canon. The course is designed for individuals who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of mindfulness meditation. While based on educational and academic study of the satipatthana sutta the emphasis throughout the course will be on what is practical and relevant to actual meditation. We will also look at and discuss how mindfulness can be applied and integrated into our daily lives.

There will be guided sitting, standing and walking meditations, educational lecture with handouts and some light homework. This course will be a great introduction to mindfulness practice and theory. The course is appropriate for beginners and those with a long term practice.

 The total cost is 30$
