Compassion and Forgiveness half-day meditation workshop
Sunday March 24th 10am-2pm
Session led by: Dave Smith: Against the Stream Meditation teacher
During this half-day workshop we will explore the radical and transformative practices of compassion and forgiveness. These meditation practices enable us to respond to the difficulties and challenges of our lives in a new and meaningful way. In traditional Dharma practice, compassion is taught as the antidote to our suffering; forgiveness is taught as the antidote to the resentments that we hold.
During this workshop we will learn and explore the meditative practices of compassion and forgiveness. There will be in-depth guided meditations, informative Dharma talks and some intimate group process.
This workshop is appropriate for beginners and those with long term practice. It will be a rich opportunity to begin to let go of the past and move towards freedom of heart and mind.
Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
